Inserting External Figures with GraphicP

This paper describes GraphicP, a new, unified LTEX and plain TEX package that provides a fast and reliable method for including external images into TEX documents. The \includegraphics macro of GraphicP is a drop-in replacement of the same command of LTEX graphics.sty and graphicx.sty, but with many enhancements. Drivers for xdvi, dvips, pdftex and dvipdfm are included. Useful tips are given for converting vector and bitmap images into a format usable for inclusion (typically EPS or single-page PDF).
